Summary of main topic and goals
The PARTHENOS project empowers digital research in the fields of History, Language Studies, Cultural Heritage, Archaeology, and related fields across the (Digital) Humanities, through a thematic cluster of European Research Infrastructures, integrating initiatives and world-class infrastructures, and building bridges between different interrelated fields. PARTHENOS will achieve this objective through the definition and support of common standards, the coordination of joint activities, the harmonization of policy definition and implementation, and the development of pooled services and of shared solutions to the same problems..

CLARIN's role in the project
CLARIN is leader of WP2, Community requirements, and participates in all other WPs (except WP1, management), leading individual tasks T3.1 and T6.3. Within CLARIN, the work is being carried out at 10 different CLARIN centres.

Main CLARIN-specific results
Representing the language resources community and their needs; integrating CLARIN solutions into Parthenos; make use of Parthenos solutions within CLARIN; make CLARIN more visible in the larger Humanities, in particular among the Parthenos parters; cooperation with DARIAH
