New (alpha) VLO version

The fresh alpha version of the Virtual Language Observatory features a complete overhaul of the design and some first integration with the CLARIN Switchboard. Please keep in mind that this is a development version - it may not be stable, have bugs, etc. But we greatly appreciate your feedback and bug reports via vlo [at] clarin.eu (vlo[at]clarin[dot]eu).

Estonian users connected to federated login

The Estonian Identity Providers have been added to the Service Provider Federation. This means that all users with an account at one of these academic organisations can use federated login to access the password-protected CLARIN services.

Gathering CLARIN-related publications in our Zotero group

Recently, we started a public Zotero group to collect publications related to CLARIN's infrastructure. Anyone can join it and add/use bibliographic information.

Views about PID Systems: RDA Training Course and Workshop

The Europe project is organising an open workshop on systems preceded by a training course for those interested in learning more and getting detailed information about PID systems and make up their own mind. The training course runs from 31 August 2016 (11.00) to 1 September (12.00) and the Workshop will start on 1 September 2016 (13.00)  until 2 September (16.00). Both events will be organised at the Max Planck Compute and Data Facility (MPCDF) in Garching/Munich (Germany).
